The collection of bags are fresh and includes several fabric selections. These reusable, recyclable bags are wonderful to take to the beach, college, travel, organize your shopping-the uses are end-less. The colors and pattern selection make the bags fun for the whole family. Consider the entire insulated cooler, casserole and shopping bags in various sizes to take on picnics or social gatherings. We appreciate your support as these funds will defray some Women’s Ministry Retreat costs, as well as provide necessary scholarship funds for those who need that financial help.

The sale will be held from May 11th. through June 3. Please go to the Women’s Ministry cart on the patio after services to order, or drop off your order in the school or church office.

The Lutheran Community Foundation (LCF) is now accepting applications from graduating senior members who plan to attend a Lutheran-affiliated college or university in the fall of 2013. The Grace Lutheran Endowment Fund, which is held at the LCF, qualifies our high school senior members for this scholarship.

One national scholarship in the amount of $5,000 will be awarded for the 2013-2014 academic year. For full guidelines and the application process visit:

We will have 45 students from China on our campus from July 21-July 29th. The Chinese students are here to interact with American kids their age and to simply have fun the American way. This will be an exciting fun filled week of activity. The whole week will be packed with activities, while we get the privilege of making new friends from China. We will go on trips to the beach, Disneyland, Universal Studios, and more. We are accepting registrations for Grace students, church members and community friends to attend as well. All campers must be between the ages of 11 and 14. The cost for the week is $250 and includes all trips. We are also looking for Grace families to house our Chinese students. Payment for the month of June only, must be in by May 31st to reserve your child’s space. Attendance for July and August must be paid for two weeks in advance. (If you are coming to camp in July we need you to sign up and pay by June 14th and so on…) Packets are available in the daycare room and on our website on the Forms page. Pre-registration is required.

This means that the award assembly date of May 16th is cancelled and a new schedule to accommodate all classes is listed here.

Again, these awards will be given out in the morning at Assembly, they are broken down into different grades and dates so that our Assembly times will not be extended. We love to honor all of the classes and this is a way for the children to enjoy and support each other and also, for our parents to take a small portion of their time to come and enjoy the children’s success. Assembly begins at 8:10 AM and you are invited.
