Myles Stuckey grew up in Vista with his 2 sisters and identical twin brother. He graduated from Rancho Buena Vista High School in 1995 and after a brief enrollment at Palomar Junior College he left for Humboldt State University to chase his dream of playing college football and to graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree. Proverbs 16:3 commit your works to the LORD, and your plans will be established.
While attending Humboldt State Myles met his wife Amanda in the spring of 1998, it was love at first sight. Their love grew and strengthened through their college years and they were married in 2002. They have 2 amazing children Jade and Matthew who attend Grace Lutheran School. It has been such a blessing for both to attend a school that provides a moral and spiritual foundation for life.
Myles began working for Vista Unified School District in 2001 shortly after graduating from Humboldt State. He and Amanda decided in 2005 that Myles should stay at home and raise their children. A role Myles relished. It was probably the most difficult job he ever had, but those years will always be looked on as some of the best in his life.
Myles loves to coach. He has been a football coach since 2002. His first coaching job was at Washington Middle School in Vista this led to a job coaching at his alma mater RBV were he coached from 2003-2008. He is currently coaching at Rancho Bernardo High School. He is the JV head coach/defensive coordinator and the Varsity linebacker coach.
Some of Myles’s other hobbies are maintaining his lawn and yard, the best he can, and powerlifting. He loves to exercise at any Crossfit affiliate and enjoys watching college football. He is a native San Diegan and the most optimistic Charger fan alive. His most cherished Charger memory is when Dennis Gibson knocked down the 4th and goal pass in the AFC Championship game in 1994… Kids that don’t know youtube it!
