Kim Arnold is a graduate of California Lutheran University where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and a California Teaching Credential. After graduating she taught in the Ramona Unified School District for 13 years. While teaching in Ramona, she assumed the role of mentor teacher and guided newer teachers while earning a Masters in Education from San Diego State University and an Administrative Services Credential.
In 2007 Mrs. Arnold joined the Grace Lutheran family where she has taught both 4th and 5th grades. Ending up at Grace was a God thing. While volunteering in her son Sam’s kindergarten class, she remembers an overwhelming feeling that God was leading her to teach in a Christian setting. Mrs. Arnold feels blessed to now be teaching at a school where her daughter attends and her son graduated from in 2013.
Mrs. Arnold enjoys teaching using a variety of strategies to meet the needs of her diverse learners. Her positive and encouraging tone keep students focused and motivated. She is passionate about providing a spiritual learning environment for her students, where all are encouraged and challenged to reach the potential that God has desired for them.
